Intercim, a division of Effective Management Systems, Inc. (EMS®), announced today that its Austin, Texas NC Solution Center will integrate its G-POST post-processor with Parametric Technology Corporation's (PTC) Pro/ENGINEER 2000i NC Programming Software, creating a complete NC programming solution in one product. The end result of this technology integration is called Pro/NC-GPOST; and it provides the capability to create and execute postprocessors for multi-axis mills, lathes, wire EDMs, and sheetmetal fabrication equipment, full macro programming capabilities for customization, 80 CNC control defaults, and web access to a library of hundreds of post-processors.
